  5. Clean GPU drivers (DDU in Safe Mode → latest NVIDIA/AMD/Intel).
  6. Lower VRAM hogs — volumetric clouds, textures; enable DLSS/FSR/XeSS Quality.
  7. Disable overlays — Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience, RGB suites.
  8. Unplug HOTAS temporarily if crashes happen before cockpit — HOTAS.
